Today I discovered the one advantage to working at the butt crack of dawn... I get to see eclipses when they occur! I was on my way to work this morning when I looked up to see a beautiful full moon and when I got to work, I remembered that an eclipse was about to occur. I walked outside in the dark around 4 a.m. this morning to watch the entire thing. It was incredible and amazing that hardly anyone besides myself was up to witness it.

Also -- who knew that Brian May, lead guitarist for Queen, had a blog and that he just received a doctorate in astrophysics from a college in London. From what I can tell, looks like he gave up his study of scientific research years ago to pursue his music passion with Queen.
