Now this is something that I can't WAIT for!
Led Zeppelin front man, Robert Plant is working on an album with bluegrass legend, Alison Kraus. Plant has been spotted in and around Nashville, at the Grand Ole Opry. The album will be titled, "Raising Sand" and is expected to be released on October 23rd. From what I understand the two will use lesser known material from songwriters like Tom Waits, Mel Tillis, and the Every Brothers.
Led Zeppelin is arguably the band that has my all-time favorite drummer, John Bohnam. Alison Kraus, who I've met a few times, is a complete delight and incredible singer/songwriter/musician.
I simply can't wait... this will be in my grubby little hands as soon as it hits the record shelves, or ITunes rather!
